Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

By far one of the most addictive books I have read recently. The twists and turns in the story – phewww!! I was a bit disappointed with the ending though, it felt a bit abrupt. I kept turning the pages to see if I missed anything. Basically it left me wanting more!

‘Intricately twisted and deliciously sinister’ – Courier Mail.

I read an intro to Sharp Objects at the end of the book and it sounds pretty interesting too. What do you have on your reading list? Any recommendations?

  1. Loved the book and the movie. Both kept me thinking with the back and forth, back and forth plot twists. The movie may have the better ending — it’s open to a sequel, for sure!

    • Movie has a different ending? Another reason (besides Ben Affleck) to watch the movie then 😀 Thanks for letting me know!

    • I hear the movie has a different ending… I think this is a strategy to get people to read the book AND watch the movie 😀 And its working on me…. looking forward to watching the movie..

    • Just read your review on Gone Girl – that is pretty detailed & well written! But you should put a ‘spoiler alert’ note on it.. 😀 And thanks for the suggestion on ‘The Animal Farm’ – just read a review on it. Its a rather strange story line. Did you like this book?
